After discussing the leaders of Indonesia which brought
Indonesia to date, we want to increase our knowledge about the geography of the state of Indonesia.
Indonesia is a tropical country, because it was passed
by the equator. For tropical climates, Indonesia only recognizes two seasons, the dry season
and the rainy season. Two seasons
alternately as a cycle. The dry season came with the wind blowing from the
south east dry and carry little moisture. The dry season starts from June to
October. While the rains come with the wind blowing from the North West and bring
lots of water vapor. The rainy season starts from November to May.
Indonesia is an archipelagic country and has 13,466
islands. Not all islands are inhabited. Among the thousands of inhabited
islands, there are five major
islands. Five large
island that is Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Irian Jaya. The series
of five islands are also known as the archipelago of Indonesia. Of five large
islands, the island of Java is the most populated island with 136 million
people, which means one person staying in one m2.
State of Indonesia is the meeting place of two circum
(series) mountains. Circum Pacific and circum Mediterranean through Indonesia and made Indonesia
has lots of mountains. Indonesia has more than 400 volcanoes and 130 of which
include active volcanoes. Most of the volcanoes are located on the ocean floor and not visible from the surface of the sea.
Due to geographical circumstances which Indonesia has
many islands and mountains and tropical climate make Indonesia has a large tourist
attraction. Indonesia has the beauty of natural topography to be explored and
enjoyed. The following picture is one of
